What is Kopi Luwak?

Kopi Luwak is a special type of coffee that grows high in the mountains of Indonesia, where the environment is characterized by pure and humid air. The Arabica coffee beans grown in this region are selected at the first stage by luwak (civet) animals. They live freely in the same plantation region and feed only on the highest quality and fully ripe coffee fruits and beans. After the luwak (civet) animals have selected the high-quality beans, a special fermentation process begins .

This fermentation process gives Kopi Luwak coffee a unique taste and aroma that cannot be achieved in any other way. Then, the beans are picked by experienced local coffee specialists, cleaned and sorted by hand to achieve the highest quality final product. These beans are then roasted under conditions perfected over many years of experience to retain their unique taste, aroma and characteristics that make Kopi Luwak coffee unique and special.
